About ALC Property Services

Back Cove empties twice a day and fills again, and the Boulevard loop keeps walking either way — Portland measures itself in tides and in the small work that keeps pace with them. ALC Property Services keeps lawns mowed, trimmed and edged through the green months, then turns to plowing, shoveling and salting once the bay wind hardens. There is a particular satisfaction in a driveway opened before the first commuter goes by, and in a mowing line that runs true to the stone wall. Spring cleanups clear the winter's grit; fall cleanups take the leaves before they mat down under the first wet snow. Crews work Portland and out through South Portland, Falmouth and Westbrook.
