About Learned Tree Service

Freezing rain arrives in Poland without a sound — a night of it along Thompson Lake, and by first light the birches are bowed to the road and the pines are ticking as they let go. That is when Learned Tree Service is out: storm damage cleanup on the camp roads, hazards taken down before they find a roof, brush drawn back out to the truck. In softer weather the pace slows to trimming and pruning, opening a crown above Tripp Lake so a wet yard dries by noon. Removal is the last answer and sometimes the only one, and it is done carefully, with the ground left level behind it. Poland, Mechanic Falls, Oxford, Otisfield and Casco share the same hills and the same wind.
