The Kennebec runs the whole length of Pittston, and when the ice lets go in March the town hears it before it sees it. Lessard's Landscaping & Excavation works the calendar on both sides of that sound — winter plowing, yards and drives cleared, walks shoveled and grit spread on the river-road grades, then mowing, trimming, mulch and the raking of spring and fall once the fields above Route 27 come green again. Pittston is a long, rural town of farm lots and woods roads, so no two properties ask for quite the same thing.
