About Steeves Property Maintenance

Late in an August afternoon the light over Pittsfield turns the color of hay, and the fields north of town run gold right up to the treeline. Steeves Property Maintenance keeps yards through that long back half of summer — mowing on a steady rotation, string trimming around posts and stone, beds edged and mulched, leaves carried off once the maples on the side streets let go. It is lawn care built for the ordinary weeks, the ones nobody photographs: grass down, clippings gone, walkway swept before the truck pulls out. Heat arrives hard here in July and quits early in September, so the work gets done in the cool ends of the day. Pittsfield, Canaan, Clinton, Newport and Palmyra are all an easy ride from the shop.
