Up the hill from Route 108, the camps around Worthley Pond change hands with the calendar, full of screen doors and lake noise in July, shuttered and silent by November. PPM- Perreault Property Management, LLC tends that whole cycle: mowing and trimming while the season is open, then plowing the same driveways once the pond has gone hard and white. The grades and turnarounds up here are steep enough that a plow route is really a memory of every culvert, bank and blind corner. Walkways are shoveled and sanded so a dark February arrival is an easy one, and the leaves come off in fall before the first freeze locks them down. Property care in Peru is less a schedule than a promise that somebody is watching the place.
