About Snows Garage inc

Storms reach Penobscot off the water first, a gray shoulder of weather pushing up the Bagaduce before it ever touches the village. Snows Garage inc keeps the hours nobody else wants, the dark stretch between the last band of snow and the first cup of coffee, so the dooryard is open and the driveway is banked clean by daylight. Plowing here means knowing which camp roads drift shut along Northern Bay and which turnarounds need one more pass before the wind fills them again. Walkways get shoveled down to the boards, and sand goes where the shade holds ice long after the sky has cleared. There is a real satisfaction in a driveway cut square to the edge of the lawn, waiting quietly under a morning that finally turned blue.
