At Owls Head the land simply ends — a cliff, a white lighthouse, and a long look up Penobscot Bay — and the weather gets to the yards here before it gets anywhere else. Mike & Crew LLC works with that: mowing, trimming and edging lawns that grow thick in the fog and burn thin in a dry August, plus spring and fall cleanups after the wind strips the shore trees. Winter brings the other half of the list, plowing and clearing walks and sanding driveways that pitch down toward the water and hold a skin of ice past noon.
