About Higgins Landscaping

Late August in Otisfield, the light goes gold early and the old stone walls near Saturday Pond throw long shadows across the grass. Higgins Landscaping keeps lawns through that stretch, mowing on a rhythm and trimming close to the walls and posts where a deck can't reach. There is real pride in the small geometry of it — the crisp line where turf stops and gravel begins, the tidy ring around a maple. Spring and fall cleanups clear the winter's litter and then the leaves, so a yard both starts and ends the year in order. Good ground here is old ground, worked over by glaciers and farmers alike, and a well-kept lawn is simply the newest layer.
