Wood's Lawn Co

About Wood's Lawn Co

Norway's Main Street runs its brick right up to the sidewalk, and behind it the town climbs into woodlots and old pasture toward Roberts Farm. Wood's Lawn Co keeps that mix in order — village dooryards where every foot of grass shows, and hillside places where a mower earns its keep on the grade. Summer is mowing, trimming and edging with cleanups to follow; winter turns the same routes into plowing, shoveled walkways and sand laid down where the hill goes glassy. Late on a July evening, with the cut done and the clippings blown off the walk, a small yard can hold the whole street's eye. The work carries out to Paris, Oxford, Waterford, Greenwood and the roads in between.
