Essential Tree Service

About Essential Tree Service

New Gloucester wakes early in the year: the Royal River headwaters open first, then the fields along Sabbathday Lake go white to brown to green in a matter of weeks. Essential Tree Service uses that stretch for pruning, when the leaves are off and the shape of a tree is plain — deadwood out, crossing limbs gone, a young maple set up to grow straight over the drive. Removals take the trees that will not make another winter, brought down in pieces between the barn and the garden fence. When wind comes up the Intervale and lays limbs across driveways, cleanup is the day's work, and a place looks itself again by supper. New Gloucester, Gray, Pownal, Poland, North Yarmouth and Durham are all a short drive.
