About Gottlieb Landscape Design

Minnehonk Lake sits right at the edge of Mount Vernon village, and by June the lawns between the water and the road come in thick and fast. Gottlieb Landscape Design handles the mowing, trimming and edging on those yards, keeping pace with grass that can put on an inch in a warm, wet week. This is Belgrade Lakes country — hills, hayfields and hemlock shade — so no two lawns in town take a mower quite the same way. The part worth waiting for is standing back at the end: even height across a slope, an even line where grass meets gravel, the lake showing through clear. Spring and fall cleanups bookend the year, clearing winter's litter first and then the maple leaves after.
