About Downeast Boys Tree Service

In October the barrens above Milbridge turn deep red right up to the spruce line, and the Narraguagus slides past the town landing on a falling tide. Downeast Boys Tree Service covers this stretch of Washington County: a wind-thrown spruce lifted off a camp roof, a maple grown too close to the house taken down in pieces, limbs pruned back where the woods keep trying to close a driveway. Weather comes off the water all winter and leaves the same work behind — drives cut open, brush hauled to the truck, the yard put back in order. It is a long road between jobs down here, which makes the finished ones feel earned. Milbridge, Cherryfield, Harrington, Steuben, Addison and Columbia Falls are on the round.
