Merrill Farms Lawn Care

About Merrill Farms Lawn Care

In Merrill the June sun lingers so long over southern Aroostook that a lawn can still be mowed at nine at night, gold light slanting low across Route 212. Merrill Farms Lawn Care works through those generous northern evenings, cutting grass that sat out a long winter and now seems determined to make up for lost time. Beyond the mowed ground, hayfields run out to a dark wall of spruce, and the trimmed yard holds its shape against all that wild green. Each pass lays down a straight stripe, and each finished border shows somebody cared how it looked. When the light finally slips behind the woods, the job is done and the dew begins settling on the mown grass.
