About McGuire Seasonal Services, Inc.

Machias measures its weather by the bay — fog in on a July morning and gone by ten, and in winter a wind off the water with nothing at all to slow it. McGuire Seasonal Services, Inc. runs both ends of that calendar: mowing, trimming, and edging while the barrens go from blossom to burgundy, then plowing and shoveling once the river runs black between white banks at Bad Little Falls. Driveways and lots are opened, entries and walkways cleared, and lawns held even through a short, bright growing season. Down East distances are real, so the route is built around reaching everyone before the day gets away. A yard mown clean in August and a drive opened in January are the same work in different weather.
