About S.A. Mclean Inc.

The second day of a nor'easter is the one that tests a town: the wind swings around, drifts rebuild across Route 160, and the driveway cleared at midnight has closed again by four. S.A. Mclean Inc. plows Limerick through both days of it. Driveways and lots opened wide, banks pushed back so there is somewhere to put the next storm, sand laid on the pitched approaches where a car would otherwise drift toward the ditch. Steps and door landings get cleared by hand, because that is where a morning actually starts. The measure of a night's work is simple — everybody gets out.
