Black Bear Tree Co.

About Black Bear Tree Co.

By late June the Little Ossipee runs shallow and warm through Limerick, and every lawn on the slope above it grows faster than a weekend can keep up with. Black Bear Tree Co. takes those yards on a rhythm — mowing on a set week, trimming close along foundations and fence lines, edging the walk so the border between grass and gravel stays honest. Clippings get blown off the drive instead of tracked indoors. In spring the winter's litter comes off the turf; in autumn the maple leaves go before they mat down and smother it. What is left, either way, is a yard that looks tended from the road.
