November in Lewiston is a held breath — leaves down, ground gone hard, everybody watching the sky over Lisbon Street. Lemay's Landscaping and Asphalt Services meets it from both directions: fall cleanups and final mows on one side, snow plowing, driveway clearing, and shoveled walkways on the other. A cleared apron at six in the morning is a quiet sort of gift, the kind a person only notices when it is missing.
