Late winter on the Sabattus Street ridge starts out blue and ends up gold, and somewhere in between a plow blade is scraping the last white off a dooryard. Appalachian Lawn Care & Snow Removal keeps both halves of the Lewiston year: plowing driveways and shoveling walks while the wind comes across Sabattus Pond, then mowing, trimming, and cleanups once the frost heaves have settled back down. The changeover is the good part — the same driveway cleared in the dark in February is the one edged in June sun. Pride here is measurable: a drive open before the first coffee, a lawn striped clean by supper. Nothing fancy, just carried all the way out to the corners.
