About Provisions Property Services

November on Route 103: stone walls gone gray, the salt marsh at Brave Boat Harbor turned the color of old hay, and everyone in Kittery quietly getting ready. Provisions Property Services does the getting-ready — the closing mowings and trims that put a lawn to bed, then the plowing and hand-clearing of drives and walks once the first nor'easter finds this coast. The name suits the habit: stock up, stay ahead of it, be there before the road is. Marsh-country storms come in wet and heavy and freeze hard on the second night, which is exactly when an open driveway earns its keep. Spring turns, the mowers come back out, and the circle starts again.
