Morneau Lawn Care

About Morneau Lawn Care

Salt air does something to a Kennebunk lawn — it comes in thick and green between the Mousam and the marsh, and it wants cutting all summer long. Morneau Lawn Care keeps up with it: weekly mowing, edges run clean along brick walks and crushed-shell drives, the trimmer taken into every corner the mower cannot hold. Out toward the beach roads the wind lays the grass over in silver waves; in the village under the Summer Street shade the growth is finer and slower and asks for a lighter hand. The spring visit lifts the winter salt-grit and matted growth off the turf; the fall one puts the yard to bed before the first hard blow off the water. Kennebunk in July, mown and trimmed and quiet, is about as good as a yard gets.
