February at Kennebunk Beach is all edges: cobble grinding at Gooch's, the wind coming straight off the water with nothing between it and the driveways on Sea Road. Snow out here does not so much fall as travel, filling a cleared drive twice before the storm has finished with the coast. Grunt Work LLC plows it as many times as that takes, cuts the walkways down to the boards, and pushes the banks back far enough that the next one has somewhere to go. There is real pride in the last pass of a long night — headlights, an open drive, the sea still shouting out in the dark. That is the whole job, and it is enough.
