A February storm this close to the water arrives wet and heavy, and by midday the sanders are working Route 35 while every driveway in town needs opening a second time. Greenscapes of Maine takes both ends of the Kennebunk year: plowing, shoveling walks and entries, and salting or sanding the ice that hides in the shade, then mowing, trimming and cleanups once the ground softens again. Snow work is judged by whether a car gets out, which is a clear enough standard to work to. The lawn work is judged in May, when it shows. Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Arundel and Wells are all on the list.
