About Jackett Enterprises Inc

Winter is no visitor in Houlton — it moves in near Thanksgiving and stays, banking the Meduxnekeag's edges and burying the potato ground under feet rather than inches. Jackett Enterprises Inc plows through the length of it, opening driveways and lots, cutting back the walls the road plows leave at the end of a drive, sanding wherever boots and tires have polished the ice. Storms this far north arrive with wind, so a drive that was wide open at midnight may need running again by five. Keeping the approaches around Market Square passable is what lets an Aroostook morning happen at all. The job does not change from November to April: keep everybody moving.
