About Ford Enterprises

Storms come up over Penobscot Bay and hit Hope's ridges with everything they have left, piling drifts across the open stretches on the road to Union. Ford Enterprises works snow removal through all of it — plowing driveways and yards, opening the long uphill approaches, sanding the corners that ice before anything else. Hatchet Mountain makes weather of its own, and a route through these hills is never quite the same twice in a winter. The measure of the night is simple: every property open, every walk clear, before anybody has to go anywhere. Then the sun comes up on all that white and the whole town looks brand new.
