Webster Tree Service

About Webster Tree Service

Hebron in mid-May smells of apple blossom, the orchard rows still bare underneath and Marshall Pond holding the cold a while longer. Webster Tree Service is out in that window doing the pruning that pays off later — deadwood taken from the yard maples, a crown thinned so the lawn beneath it dries by noon, limbs lifted off the eaves before leaf-out puts weight in them. Removals come when a tree has gone hollow or leans over the road, and they come down in pieces on the narrow hill roads toward Buckfield. Storms in these Oxford hills leave the usual mess, and clearing it is half the year: brush carried off, ruts raked smooth, the driveway open. Hebron, Minot, Oxford, Buckfield, Turner and South Paris are the run.
