Wetty's Plowing & Sanding

About Wetty's Plowing & Sanding

Four in the morning at Harpswell Center: the plow lights swing across the meetinghouse and the road glitters where rain froze on top of the snow. Wetty's Plowing & Sanding works those hours, clearing drives and laying sand on the pitches where a car would otherwise slide toward the water. Ice storms here are their own animal, and traction on a steep drive is the difference between a normal Tuesday and a bad one. In summer the same properties get mowed and trimmed, the grass held even down the long slopes toward the shore. Winter or green season, the object stays the same: your own driveway, usable, whatever the sky did overnight.
