About Alexander's Professional Landscaping

By seven on a June morning the fog is still lying along the Souadabscook, and the grass in Hampden is heavy enough with dew to hold a footprint. Alexander's Professional Landscaping starts there — mowing, trimming close along fence lines and foundations, edging walks until the border between lawn and pavement is a drawn line. Summers on this side of the Penobscot run green and generous, and a yard will grow all it can between Memorial Day and the first cool night. Come autumn the same ground gets raked out, leaves hauled off, beds put down before the freeze. The reward is standing at the end of a driveway and looking back at stripes running true to the road.
