The camp roads around Little Sebago were built for August, not January — narrow, pitched, and quick to drift shut when the wind comes off the ice. Wilkinson Excavation puts machines on that problem, pushing driveways and lanes back to full width and hauling the banks away before the next storm has nowhere to go. There is a craft to it: knowing where snow can be stacked so it does not undo you come March, and where a culvert hides under a foot of white. Done right, a road that vanished at midnight looks like a road again by breakfast. That reappearance never really gets old.
