About JF Yardworks

April in Gorham is a mess worth fixing: plow sand along the lawn edges, winter's sticks under the maples, the grass matted flat and waiting for a reason to stand up. JF Yardworks brings lawns back to life across this Cumberland County town, from the older houses near the village center to the newer neighborhoods where open fields still run between the homes. The Presumpscot River traces Gorham's northern line, and the University of Southern Maine's campus looks down from its hill above the village. Spring cleanup sets the season in motion — debris raked out, beds cleared, then a first mow that makes a yard look like itself again. From there it's the weekly beat of cutting, trimming and blowing off the walks, until the place looks a notch sharper than the block around it.
