A.K.Fickett Tree

About A.K.Fickett Tree

The first heavy wet snow of the season is the one that tests Gorham — it comes in off the ocean, loads the pines out along Fort Hill, and by morning the driveways are buried. A.K.Fickett Tree runs the plow through it, opening driveways and parking areas and pushing the banks back so the next storm has somewhere to go. Winter here is not one event but a running account, and keeping ahead of it is the whole discipline. There is nothing better than watching someone back out of a drive you cleared an hour before dawn. Snow removal for Gorham and the towns nearby.
