About Giles Landscaping, LLC

Georgetown is more water than land — an island town at the mouth of the Kennebec, with Reid's dunes on one side and the wharves at Five Islands on the other. Lawns here grow between ledge and rugosa, salted by fog that rolls in on an afternoon breeze and lifts by suppertime. Giles Landscaping, LLC keeps them cut and trimmed, edges tight against the granite, beds cleared in spring and again when the oaks finally let go. Mowing beside a salt marsh has its own reward: gulls arguing overhead, the tide changing while the work gets done. What is left is a summer yard that looks effortless, which is the entire point.
