About Messinger’s Hardscape Landscaping and design

The Kennebec runs past Gardiner all year, gray with ice in February and full of light by June, and the town's hill streets watch it do both. Messinger's Hardscape Landscaping and design works that whole circle — mowing, edging and cleanups through the growing months, plowing and sanding once the hills turn slick. Driveways here are rarely flat, which makes winter a matter of traction and summer a matter of angles on the mower. Knowing a property in both halves of the year is an advantage: you learn where the water runs, where the ice forms, where the lawn edge actually sits. Cleared in January, clipped in July, the same yard gets looked after either way.
