Dunbar Tree Service

About Dunbar Tree Service

Friendship ends at the water — Hatchet Cove, the working floats, Muscongus Bay opening out past the islands with the boats gone before most people are awake. Dunbar Tree Service mows and trims the lawns on the peninsula behind all of that, the ones that run down toward the rocks and finally give way to bayberry and rugosa. Sea wind keeps coastal grass short in the exposed spots and lush in the lee, and it takes knowing a yard to mow it evenly. Trimming along ledge, granite steps and fish-house corners is the slow part and the part that shows. On a clear July afternoon with the cove full of light, a freshly cut lawn above the water is about as good as Maine gets.
