About Total Lawn Care Inc.

Fort Kent gets about five months of green and calls it a year. Total Lawn Care Inc. works both halves of that: mowing and trimming through the long June evenings when it is still light at nine and the fields north of town run up toward the border, then plowing and sanding once the ground goes hard in November. The turn happens fast up here — leaves raked one week, the first plowable inch the next. Handling both means the same driveway is known in both seasons: where the culvert sits, where the lawn edge hides beneath the snow. Cut clean in summer, opened wide in winter, a yard gets to stay itself all the way around the calendar.
