A nor'easter leaves north Fairfield looking rearranged — Martin Stream lost under a white seam, fence lines gone, every wide lot filled level. Ranger Construction Corp meets those mornings with the truck already warm, pushing lots back out to their corners and stacking banks where they will not blind a driver come daylight. Driveways get opened, entries and walkways get cleared, and the drifting that follows a big blow gets knocked back on a second pass. The route covers Fairfield and works out toward Skowhegan, Norridgewock and Benton. Nothing is more ordinary, or more welcome, than pavement showing again.
