About MDI Grows Landscape Services

By September the traffic on Route 3 thins out and Ellsworth exhales, the blue humps of the island mountains sitting quiet on the southern horizon. MDI Grows Landscape Services keeps its rounds rolling straight through that turn — mowing while the grass still grows and edges kept sharp, then the leaf work, then beds cut back and put down for the year. Once snow starts, the same driveways and lots are plowed, the walks cleared and the ice treated. Between the Union River and the bridge to the island there is a great deal of ground, and every property on the list gets the same finish. The seasons change out here; the standard does not.
