About Busch Site Contracting, LLC

The Piscataqua never freezes — it runs far too hard for that — but everything above its banks in Eliot does, and that is where Busch Site Contracting, LLC spends its winter nights. The work is plowing driveways and parking areas, cutting back the banks so they stop creeping in storm after storm, salting the slick spots and clearing the walks by hand. Coastal storms here arrive heavy and wet, the kind that loads a shovel and bends the birches over Route 236. Getting ahead of one means starting while it is still falling and coming back once it quits. The payoff is a dark, wide driveway at daybreak and a road that lets people get to work.
