About S.L. Wadsworth & Son

Twice a day the tide below Water Street rises and falls the height of a house, and the whole city seems to breathe along with it. S.L. Wadsworth & Son keeps Eastport's grass in order between those tides, mowing on a steady cycle and string-trimming around fences, foundations and granite. Fog can sit on the harbor the whole morning and then burn off by two, and the afternoon that follows is the finest mowing weather anyone could ask for. A lawn cut straight and even, running right up to a shingled corner, is a small piece of order in a place shaped entirely by weather. Beds get cleared when the season opens and again when it closes, so nothing goes into winter untended.
