About Stackhouse Landscaping

Along the river north of the village there is a bank of oyster shells thousands of years deep, left by people who ate very well here long before anybody drew a town line. Stackhouse Landscaping tends the newer layer — the lawns, the borders, the dooryards of Damariscotta. Mowing on a dependable schedule, trimming close where a deck can't reach, edging drives and walks, and clearing the yard out in spring and again once the maples let go. Soil above the river drains fast and greens early, which hands this town a good long stretch of cutting weather. A yard held to a clean line all summer is the plain result, and it is worth the trouble.
