About LP Murray & Sons, Inc.

A nor'easter announces itself at Crescent Beach hours ahead of time: the surf gets loud, the sky goes the color of an old nickel, and Kettle Cove empties out. LP Murray & Sons, Inc. spends those nights running snow routes across Cape Elizabeth, opening driveways and lots while the wind keeps refilling them. Walks get shoveled to the doorframe, sand goes down where the grade wants to throw a car sideways, and the banks get pushed back so the next storm has somewhere to go. There is a plain pride in a lot that looks squared off at daylight, corners cut, nothing left to guess at. When the storm passes and the coast turns blue and still, that clear pavement is the evidence.
