About Dorman's Lawn & Garden Services

Canaan is hayfields and hardwood ridges with the Sebasticook threading quietly through, and the year splits neatly in two out here. From the first green-up in May, Dorman's Lawn & Garden Services is mowing, trimming and edging, hauling off what spring uncovers and coming back in October for the leaves. Then the light shortens, the fields go bone-colored, and the same trucks turn to plowing driveways and long farm lanes, shoveling steps and sanding where the road bends into shade and never thaws. A field-edge lawn cut straight and a lane opened to the barn door are the same craft, done six months apart. Route 2 country asks for both, and both get done.
