Tucker's Tree Service

About Tucker's Tree Service

North of Bangor the country opens into Bradford's hayfields and woodlots, gravel roads running straight between them and the sky doing most of the work. March is mud and sap and lengthening light, and Tucker's Tree Service uses the last of the frost to reach trees a summer lawn would never allow — pruning the maples along a farmhouse drive, trimming out the winter breakage overhead. Removals here are often the old giants at a field edge, hollowed by decades, brought down where they can lie without taking a fence with them. When a wet spring storm loads the softwoods and a spruce comes across the road, storm damage cleanup is cut, roll, chip, and move on to the next one. The yards come out of winter opened up and orderly.
