J & B Tree Care

About J & B Tree Care

May in Bowdoinham means alewives — the run pushing up the Abagadasset, the water high and busy, the roadsides gone green overnight. J & B Tree Care is out in that first flush of leaf, trimming what winter broke and pruning the young hardwoods along the farm lanes toward Brown's Point while the growth is still soft enough to guide. Ash and elm that never came back get removed before they start letting go on their own, taken down so the fence and the stone wall stay exactly where they were. Storm damage cleanup keeps its own calendar: a wind out of the southwest, a limb through a shed roof, a Saturday spent setting it right. The reward is small and specific — a clear yard, a stacked pile, and a tree that gets to keep growing.
