About Back Meadow Farm Inc

Inland from the harbor, Boothbay is quieter than people expect — fields, stone walls, and a morning fog that lies in the low ground until the sun takes it around nine. Back Meadow Farm Inc works those hours, cutting and trimming through the growing season while the dew is still down and the day is cool. A yard here has to hold its own against a coastal summer: fast growth in June, drought stress in August, and a leaf drop that arrives all at once in the third week of October. Weekly cuts, clean trim lines, cleanups at both ends of the year, mulch where beds need it — the routine is the point. By the time the light slants and the fields go tawny, the lawns look cared for rather than merely cut.
