Late August along the river path in Biddeford the light goes gold by six and the grass finally slows down. W. Knight Landscaping is at work through those long weeks — weekly cutting, trimming around trees and posts, edging drives and sidewalks, and clearing leaves once the maples turn. An edge cut clean where lawn meets sidewalk holds its line for days, and that is the part worth taking time over. The season runs from the first thaw-out cleanup to the last load of leaves, without much of a gap in between. Biddeford yards, and the ones just outside the city.
