About Knox Yard Maintenance, LLC

Above the river the land in Benton opens into hayfield and ridge, and by late October the light goes thin and slantwise across the stubble. Knox Yard Maintenance, LLC follows that turn: mowing, trimming and fall cleanups while the ground is still soft, then plowing, shoveling and sanding once the plow markers go up along the road. Storms come down the Kennebec valley overnight, and there is nothing better than a driveway opened wide before the first alarm goes off. Come April the same yards get swept of sand and winter litter and coaxed back toward green. It is one town's worth of work, done twice a year in opposite directions.
