Greater Cuts

About Greater Cuts

Late afternoon at Belfast City Park the bay goes silver and the mown grass throws long stripes down toward the water. Greater Cuts chases that look through town — even passes, sharp trimming around trees and hydrants, edges cut along the sidewalk so a lawn ends in a line instead of a fray. Grass cut at the right height in the right week is what makes a yard read deep green rather than merely short. Cleanups on either side of the growing season keep the ground clear going in and coming out. Belfast and the roads out toward Belmont, Searsport and Lincolnville.
