Belfast's Main Street runs downhill to the harbor, and in a night storm that hill is the first thing needing attention. Dustin's Snow Removal is out in it — plowing driveways up the ridge and down along the Passagassawakeag, sanding the pitch where a car would otherwise slide, shoveling the walks right to the door. Bay storms come in wet and stack heavy, and a drive left until morning is a drive you fight all week.
