Coastal Lawn & Landscape

About Coastal Lawn & Landscape

September on Penobscot Bay throws its light sideways, and the lawns above the harbor hold their color right through it. Coastal Lawn & Landscape mows, trims and tends those yards from the first flush of May grass to the last cut before the ground hardens, then returns with a plow when the driveways need opening. Salt air is hard on a lawn and salt wind is hard on a plow route; both get worked with the same patience. There is a particular pleasure in finishing a lot just as the boats swing on their moorings and the hill goes gold above the water. Come January those same yards get found under the snow and handed back their doorways.
