The South End of Bath empties and fills with the shipyard whistle, and somewhere between those hours the neighborhood's yards get their turn. Jorgensen Landscaping mows and trims through the growing months, down as far as Winnegance, handling the spring opening and the leaf-heavy weeks of fall. Then river fog turns to ice and the work changes: plowing drives, shoveling walks, clearing what a storm dumps overnight on streets where cars park at both ends. Summer or storm, the aim doesn't move — get there before it becomes a problem, and leave the place usable. Small streets remember who does that.
